This plan provides reinforcing schedules for any horizontal dimension of rectangular tank. As well, designs are provided for the following depths of tank: 2450 mm (8'), 3050 mm (10') and 3650 mm (12'). If it is necessary to choose a tank that fits between these depths, the design information for the next depth of tank should be used. Cantilever wall construction involves pouring a wide footing and designing the joint between the footing and the wall so that it is very rigid. Forces and pressures that are applied to the wall are then transferred to the footing. The principal reinforcing is therefore vertical.
